Camerbet

Original of Bordeaux, It is perhaps the most widespread Red grape variety in the world, being present in all five continents. Recent genetic studies have shown that it descends from the natural crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Although it is cultivated anywhere in the world, it adapts better to warm climates. It reaches its fullness after a long maturity in wood and continued maturity in the bottle. It provides structure and colour. Rich in tannins and colour it's an excellent variety for ageing. Well known also as Petit Cabernet and Vidure.
